Now, let’s be clear, of course Black Lives Matter. And we all agree the death of George Floyd was disgusting. And I hope we all agree that justice always needs to be sought and served. And it is good that the officers were fired and the main perpetrator Derrick Chauvin, was arrested. And President Trump has enacted legislation to address racism in the police force.
From here, my views may vary from many of you, especially if you have been immersing yourself in the mainstream fear machine. In my view, cop lives also matter, and while of course there are bad apples and perhaps even systemic issues to address, most cops are doing good while working one of the most difficult professions.
We need to ask tough questions. Is this violent outburst really all about George Floyd? I know it is not popular to question Black Lives Matter, but many blacks are, and we need to look at everything. Who are they, where do they get their donations, and where does the money go?
Black Lives Matter was started in 2013 as a response to the Ferguson shooting. But did you know that the police officer, did nothing wrong? Look up Larry Elder’s overview of that case. Certainly there were issues to address in Ferguson, but people often forget that the cop did nothing wrong in that case.
The initial support to BLM, $33 million, came from, guess who, George Soros, whose stated goal is to bring down America. He has even said that he will use Black people to do so, as he claims, they are easiest to manipulate. His words, not mine. This was followed up with millions of dollars from top organizations and corporations across America.
Now, then, is this really a grass roots organization? Investigative journalist Ashley Rae Goldenberg produced a comprehensive list of over 200 companies and corporations she says are supporting ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter with millions of dollars. And George Soros once again recently poured another $220 million into Black led racial justice groups, including BLM.
And where does their money go? I looked on the BLM website a few weeks ago, and surprise, over half a billion dollars went to Democratic candidates, including Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders.
So, you might say, well, what’s wrong with that. The Democrats are the party of the poor and minorities right? Well, I started looking deeper at this, and I would invite you to do your homework. You may even discover something shocking, that President Trump’s policies have lowered Black unemployment to a record low, and that Trump has actually started to address one of the main issues faced by Blacks, something the Black President Obama did not touch: the racism and injustice in our prison systems.
Is it possible that the Democrats are using Blacks to get their votes, but don’t truly help them lift themselves up? I am a lifelong liberal, but truth matters. In his book, Dog Whistle Politics, Ian Haney Lopez argues that strategic racism and coded racial appeals have stirred racial animosity in order to win votes.
Now, like then, BLM got very active right before the 2016 election. And have you heard any Black Lives Matter leader condemn the terrorist tactics of Antifa?
Shaun King, a popular BLM leader and activist, demanded on Twitter that “All murals and stained glass windows of white Jesus and his European Mother and their white friends should also come down. They are a gross form of white supremacy as tools of oppression, racist propaganda. They should all come down.”
I also listened to one former Black leader of BLM who invites BLM members to leave the group. He claims the group has been hijacked and is using and playing the Black community.
My main point is this. While I am sure that the vast majority of protesters and members of Black Lives Matters are good people, we are all being played. Our heartstrings have been pulled. We feel confused and guilty. And we are being divided to be conquered. And much of this is about the Democrats winning an election to start, and even they are being played in the bigger picture.
Violence does not help our Black communicates. Here is MLK JR: “Violence creates many more social problems than it solves….. Violence isn’t the way.”
Let me be blunt. I feel we–or grace–will take this awful situation and make good out of it. But overall, the violent protests and attacks are not helping Blacks, and not intended to do so. They are not, as one Black activist said, an organic Black movement, but a top down instigation to distract and divide and yes, even take down this country. The big thing they wish to distract from is President Trump’s current investigations into tremendous corruption, especially child abuse and trafficking. Children’s Lives Matter.
