What do you think of disruptive behavior? Is it justified?
It depends doesn’t it.
When someone or some organization or some government is abusing someone or some group of people–which is all too common, is it not our duty to disrupt the injustice, stop the violence?
COVID, of course, demonstrated such egrigious abuse of state power that we were called to disrupt things. Our reward was being cancelled, gaslit, abused, or had our business closed or at the least, lost clients. The most outspoken and intelligent critcs, wriers, doctors and speakers were attacked, or even killed. Some were named the “Disinformation Dozen”. There are costs to justified and courageous disruption.
The best doctors, who refused to violate their oath to help people, refused to push the vaccine, and instead offered repurposed drugs like ivermectin (which itself was gaslit). And many of these doctors lost their liscense or were eve killed.
And then, when I think of disruption, Antifa and other bully groups comes to mind. This, to me, is the classic case of self righteous, cowardly bullies–often paid agitators–who disrupt on bankrupt beliefs, causing infinitely more problems and injustice than they solve. They use fascist protocol to supposely fight fascism. Some are finally getting there long awaited jail time.
But here I want to say just a few words about another form of disruption. It’s another kind of disruption that is not helpful or ideal, but not completely surprising.
I was at a couple doctors’ offices recently, and noticed the same sign on the counter, which maybe some of you have seen of late:
“DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED: We are here to care for our patients. We value our staff and have zero tolerance for aggressive behavior. Our administration supports staff in contacting law enforements if they encouter such behavior.
Aggressive behavior includes: abusive language, threats or bullying, imappropriate comments, shouting or verbal harrassment, and physical assault.”
Wow! Sounds like some tough times at the doctors’ office!
So, I had to ask staff members at a couple of the medical offices I visited, “What’s up with these signs? Are people really being so aggressive? How? Why?” The women I spoke with both said something like this, “Oh yeah, it’s a daily thing. I usually get shouted at a couple times a day. Some people get crazy in the ER, pulling IVs out of their arms….”
I was thinking to myself, I wonder if this is since COVID, that the vaccine has made people a bit crazed. I even felt a tad of guilt: maybe I am one of the abusive ones–at least in their eyes–since I have at times refused to wear a mask, and had to side step their insistence to get vaccinated or at least refuse to sign a form giving the “medical authorities” permission and authority to perform “any medical procedure they believe necessary” (yes, I really was asked to fill this form out a couple times).
But none of the staff agreed that this had anything to do with COVID. They said basically, “No, this has been going on before COVID.” I wasn’t sure I believed them; I feel certain that COVID instigated some of this. So I asked, “But why then? Are people just sick of being sick, beat down? Maybe they are angry at the mainstream medical model (I didn’t say mafia) and are lashing out at those faces on the front lines, rather than the pharmaceautical industry for example?” They cringed a bit, but nodded and said that it could be something like that.
Reminds me of the CEO for UnitedHealthcare Brian Thompson who was gunned down and killed. Are we getting to the point where those who have contributed to sickening and poisoning us and profiting from us won’t be able to walk down the street? Are we mad at insurance companies? Mainstream medical? Doctors? Big Pharma? OR just scared, angry and feelig helpless that our bodies are giving out? Or all of the above?
Could be attack on the big wigs, but for now, most of them have cusioned themselves from the wrath, and fairly innocent medical staff are on the front lines, often getting abused by some of the scared, desperate, frustrated and sick people who are at the end of their rope. May God help us.
In the meantime, we must help ourselves (or combine this with asking God for help). We must take responsibility for ourself and our health. We can contribute to the demise of the old medical model, unwind ourselves from the junk food and as many prescription drugs as possible. We need to take control of and detoxify our bodies and our minds.
Our minds can be renewed. Our amazing bodies can heal and regenerate and rebuild. We are human miracles. May we each contribute to regaining our sense and sanity and be appropriately disruptive when called for, and kind and peaceful when possible.
